W. Patrick Traynor (Ret.)

 

Family law practitioner Patrick Traynor handles all aspects of domestic relations cases, including asset tracing, division of real and personal property, pre-marital agreements, child support, and spousal maintenance (alimony) issues. He also counsels clients on their rights to stock options, private pension and retirement assets, and military and other governmental pensions.

Patrick lectures frequently on various family law issues including military retirement, pensions, stock option benefits, and spousal maintenance. Previously, he was a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Air Force. In addition, he reported for Arizona for “The Law in the 50 States” issues of the Family Law Quarterly, a publication of the American Bar Association’s Family Law Section.

Since 1990, Patrick has served as a voluntary Judge Pro Tempore for the Pima County, Arizona Superior Court in family law matters. Designated by the State Bar of Arizona as a certified specialist in family law, Patrick is also a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers since 1985, and the past president of its Arizona chapter. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America© in the field of Family Law for 20 years. Patrick was named the Best Lawyers© 2015 Family Law “Lawyer of the Year” in Tucson.
